Do you want to develop professionally and become part of an engaged team? Within the home care service, we work in nine different teams – four in the countryside and five in the central town. Each team consists of registered nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and we also have care assistants and physiotherapy assistants working in a supporting capacity. We are now looking for a registered nurse or district nurse for the home care service in Korsberga.

As a registered nurse or district nurse in the home care service in Vetlanda, you play a key role in meeting the patient's individual care needs – physical, psychological, social, and cultural. The work is characterized by independence, but you are also an important part of a team where we support each other and develop together.

Your work primarily involves nursing duties, and you have overall responsibility for the care assistants' care interventions. You collaborate closely with primary care physicians via the municipality's health centers and actively contribute to creating safe and high-quality care.

Your duties include:

• leading, prioritizing, and coordinating care work based on patient needs
• assessing medical needs
• organizing and initiating contact with doctors
• following up, documenting, and assessing self-care
• prescribing and handling medications and assistive devices

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a professional attitude, and adapts easily to different situations. With a good sense of structure and planning, you organize and prioritize your work effectively.

With us, you have the opportunity to influence your working hours through self-scheduling. Our nurses work every fifth weekend and have approximately 1–2 evening shifts per five-week period.

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, preferably a district nurse.
• You have a category B driver's license.
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).
• We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: According to agreement. Selection and interviews are held continuously.
Working hours: Daytime, evening, weekends.
