Your Role

Are you an experienced operator with an interest in manufacturing and advanced production? Do you want to work in a unique operation where precision, quality, and technology are at the center? We are now looking for a Plasma Cutting Machine Operator for Saab Naval in Landskrona, where we together develop and build some of the world's most advanced submarines.

As a Plasma Cutting Machine Operator, you will become an important part of our production. You are responsible for setting up, programming, and running our plasma cutting machines, as well as ensuring that manufactured parts meet the highest quality standards. The role combines practical machine work with technical understanding, where reading drawings, nesting, and quality controls are a natural part of everyday life.

Your main tasks include:

• Setting up and adjusting plasma cutting machines based on drawings and production documentation
• Working with CAD-based nesting to optimize material usage and reduce waste
• Conducting test runs and ensuring correct machine settings before production
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Performing quality controls on manufactured parts
• Documenting production data and reporting any deviations
• Carrying out simple maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Contributing to a safe, efficient, and quality-focused production

The position may involve shift work.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience with plasma cutting and similar machining processes and who thrive in a production environment where precision and quality are crucial. You are technically interested, work in a structured manner, and have the ability to combine practical work with digital tools.

We believe you have:

• Experience working with plasma cutting machines or similar machine equipment
• Experience with machine setup and calibration
• Knowledge of CAD programs and nesting
• Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety procedures
• Good collaboration skills and a responsible work approach
• Ability to work carefully with a focus on quality and safety

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
