Do you want to do more than just run a process – do you want to help develop it?

At TreeToTextile, you as a Process Operator get a unique opportunity to work closely with new technology at an early stage. You become a central part of the work to develop and optimize the next generation of sustainable textile fiber.

We are a small team where every individual makes a difference – for real.

About the role

As a Process Operator with us, you work both from the control room with monitoring and practically in the plant. You drive, analyze, and improve the process – every day.

This is not a line production where everything is already finished and defined. Instead, you become an important part of developing how the process should be controlled, run, and optimized, while together with the team you ensure safe, efficient, and stable operations. The role also includes troubleshooting and solving problems in real-time – both practically out in the plant and with the help of various system support – as well as contributing to continuous improvements in quality, working methods, and technology.

You work closely with colleagues in production, technology, and development – and your insights are important for how we take the next step. Your main tasks are:

  • Monitor and control the process from the control room and out in the plant
  • Handle start, stop, and operation of different process parts in a safe manner
  • Troubleshoot during disturbances and use analysis tools as support
  • Ensure product quality through sampling and analysis
  • Perform preventive maintenance and participate in maintenance shutdowns
  • Work actively with safety, order, and improvements in production

About you

We are looking for you who have experience from the process industry and who thrive in an environment where everything is not pre-defined. You have a few years of experience from the process industry. We prefer that you have an education in process technology, operations, or similar.

You are used to working with process control, preferably in DCS systems, and have a working style characterized by initiative, problem-solving, and good collaboration skills. At the same time, you have a strong interest in learning new things and developing along with the technology. You also need to master English in speech and writing, and it is an advantage if you also master Swedish.

The job involves primarily work in intermittent 3-shifts, but will transition to continuous operations.

Why work with us?

Having employees who are happy, want to contribute, and show great commitment is crucial for our success. With us, you will contribute to creating a long-term sustainable textile industry and you get an opportunity to influence, develop, and grow.

With us, you are not one of the crowd. Instead, you get a central role in a smaller company where your efforts are visible, make a difference, and contribute to our continued development. To thrive with us, you want to:

  • Be part of building something new – you are involved in developing both process and working methods
  • Work closely with new technology – you become part of the development, not just the operation
  • Make a real difference – in a smaller organization, your ideas are noticed and taken forward
  • Develop quickly – we are on a growth journey where you can grow with us
  • Be part of a strong team and short decision paths – we work closely together and support each other in everyday life

The company plans to expand, so we see a bright future for you who want to develop and grow into new exciting roles.

About TreeToTextile

Swedish-based TreeToTextile drives positive change within the textile industry by providing the next generation of cellulose fiber for a sustainable planet. Together with our engaged owners Lenzing AG, H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso Biomaterials, and LSCS Invest, TreeToTextile develops a renewable and resource-efficient cellulose fiber with attractive properties and low environmental impact, available to all. The fiber has the potential to complement or replace parts of the cotton, viscose, and polyester markets.

In 2023, TreeToTextile started the Demo factory in Nymölla, and in June 2024, the first bale of fiber was produced. To make the fiber available on a global market, the next step is to build a smaller full-scale factory somewhere in Europe, followed by several super-sites globally in the coming years.

TreeToTextile currently has around 60 employees. In addition to our own employees, we have a large ecosystem of partners such as strong support from our owners, consultants, development partners, etc.
