Aimpoint AB was the pioneer behind the very first red dot sight – a groundbreaking invention that has made the company a global leader in its field. All of Aimpoint's production takes place within Sweden's borders at their two production facilities in Malmö and Gällivare, with their headquarters in Malmö.
For their production, we are now looking for precision mechanics assemblers. The tasks will consist of assembly work performed at various stations and with different operations. The tasks require precision and great attention to detail. This is work performed with high quality at an efficient pace. As part of the recruitment process, you as a candidate will undergo a trial assembly, a thorough background check, and a health examination.
The position is full-time, and you will initially be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant at Aimpoint. There are good opportunities to be taken over and directly employed by Aimpoint after the initial consulting assignment. We are looking for someone who sees this as a long-term position.
Working hours are scheduled in two shifts Monday-Friday, alternating every other week: 06:00-14:20 and 14:20-22:40. There will also be a night shift for those working this shift, working exclusively nights from 22:40-05:30. It is important for the role that you are open to all shifts.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for you who have an eye for detail, good precision, and a technical interest. Previous experience in precision assembly work is highly meritorious, but not a requirement. As a person, we believe you are meticulous and enjoy structure. You are a calm person who still prefers to work in a fast-paced and efficient manner within various processes. Since many tasks are monotonous, we believe you have good concentration skills and enjoy working according to clear instructions and processes. Since all communication and instructions are in Swedish, you need to have good Swedish skills in both speaking and understanding.
Other experience that is meritorious: - Background in precision assembly work. - Experience in industrial work. - Background in the beauty industry (e.g., eyelash extensions or nail construction).
