SimFAS Sweden AB was founded in Simrishamn in the mid-1970s under the name Adheseal. In 2013, the company changed owners and was renamed SimFAS Sweden AB. In March 2019, the company acquired new majority owners, Karnell Group AB, which has a turnover of over 1 billion SEK, 17 companies, and 700 employees. Karnell is a long-term owner that aims to add value by being an active and engaged development partner. Today, we produce approximately 6,500 tons of putty, adhesives, sealing, and jointing compounds. We have 28 employees and a turnover of 118 million SEK in 2024.

Job Description Here you will find a role that never looks exactly the same two days in a row. You will work at our filling lines, combining modern automated processes with manual tasks. This involves preparing, mixing, filling, packing, setting up, and maintaining machines, operating forklifts, and ensuring that everything flows smoothly. Order and cleanliness are a natural part of the day – we believe in maintaining a neat and well-functioning production floor.

Computer proficiency is a requirement as you will work daily in our business system Navision and our control systems. At the Putty Factory, one of our two plants, you will have almost full responsibility for production during your shift. This means you will have real influence over how the day unfolds and can make your own decisions when needed. Currently, we operate on a two-shift system, but during peak periods, this may expand to three shifts.

Your Profile You are someone who likes to get things done. You are practical, have a natural technical interest, and enjoy physical work. We value traits such as being solution-oriented, seeing opportunities instead of obstacles, and maintaining a positive attitude even when things don't go as planned. You always find something to do in between tasks – empty minutes are not really your thing – and order and cleanliness come naturally to you. You naturally step in to help a colleague when needed. You thrive both working independently during certain periods and collaborating closely with your colleagues when necessary.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and genuinely wants to be here. For us, it is more important that you have the right personal qualities than your previous experience. Experience operating counterbalance forklifts is a requirement as the job involves a fair amount of forklift driving.
