We are looking for you who can step in and work with short notice when regular staff is sick. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to be trained with several of our clients in and around Katrineholm. With some clients, you work in a home with other family members whom you must be able to respect and show consideration for. We place great importance on your cover letter, where you describe among other things why you would be a good fit as a personal assistant. In addition, we require a CV and references.
We are looking for you who:
- are calm and confident
- are flexible and can step in with short notice
- are available to work days, evenings, and nights (usually with waiting time)
For some of our clients, a driver's license and car are required to commute to and from work. To work as a personal assistant at DVT, you must provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (see below).
Work with elderly adults or adults with disabilities
Work in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities is subject to register checks according to the Act (2026:43) on register checks when working in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. The law applies from March 1, 2026. In support of the law, we as a company have a policy to request extracts from the criminal record register in connection with new hires. The register check is carried out as a final step in the recruitment process and is part of our overall suitability assessment.

Work with a child (persons under 18 years)
According to the law (2010:479) on register checks of personnel who perform certain interventions for children with disabilities, DVT Assistans must conduct a check against the police register before hiring a person who is to work with children. You apply for this here:
