As a Buyer at BAUHAUS, you will have significant business responsibility and the opportunity to influence everything from assortment and pricing to campaigns, supplier relations, and profitability. You will become part of an engaged purchasing team consisting of Category Managers, Buyers, and Purchasing Coordinators. Together, we develop the business through close collaboration with sales, marketing, and our international suppliers.

You will be responsible for the business within the categories of hand tools, storage, automotive, marine, and bicycles, driving development from idea to finished product on the shelf.

In this role, you will:

• Develop assortment, sales, and profitability within your categories.
• Negotiate with both Swedish and international suppliers.
• Identify new business opportunities and build long-term supplier partnerships.
• Plan and execute attractive campaigns for both consumer and business customers.
• Analyze the market, trends, and competitors to ensure a competitive offer.
• Be responsible for pricing, forecasts, and tracking business results.
• Collaborate closely with our stores, marketing department, and international purchasing organization.

The position is based in Bromma, where you will report to the Category Manager. This is a permanent position with a six-month probation period. Start date according to agreement.

Who are we looking for?

You have a strong business drive and are motivated by creating results. You like to take responsibility, work in a structured manner, and are good at building relationships – both internally and externally. At the same time, you are analytical and thrive in an environment where conditions can change quickly.

We would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, or equivalent.
• Experience in purchasing, category management, or sales with own business responsibility.
• Experience from retail or a related industry is an advantage.
• Good negotiation skills and a strong commercial mindset.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of MS Office. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
