About the Department

The Eating Disorders Unit "Tornet" is a county-wide specialist unit within child and adolescent psychiatry in Dalarna for children and young people up to 18 years old. We assess and treat eating disorders and offer care and treatment to children and young people with eating disorder issues.

Job Description

At Tornet, professionals such as psychologists, nurses, social workers, family therapists, dietitians, and doctors work in a cross-professional team with diverse expertise to help patients in the best possible way. We place great emphasis on good treatment and designing care according to the patient's needs. Treatment interventions can be offered individually or in groups, with a pronounced child- and family-centered perspective where the child/young person is at the center of care. In addition to providing treatment, support, and help to individuals affected by eating disorders, support is also offered to relatives, as well as knowledge and information to those who encounter patients with eating disorders in their work. You will meet patients both individually and in groups for treatment and assessments.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Registered Psychologist
• Experience within healthcare
• Experience in psychiatric care and treatment
• Experience working with people in crisis, preferably within eating disorder issues
