Job Description

The Eating Disorders Unit "Tornet" is a county-wide specialist unit within child and adolescent psychiatry in Dalarna for children and young people up to 18 years old. We assess and treat eating disorders and offer care and treatment to children and young people with eating disorder issues. At Tornet, professionals such as psychologists, nurses, social workers, family therapists, dietitians, and doctors work in a cross-professional team with diverse skills to help patients in the best possible way. We place great emphasis on good treatment and designing care according to the patient's needs. Treatment interventions can be offered individually or in groups, with a pronounced child- and family perspective where the child/young person is at the center of care. In addition to providing treatment, support, and help to those affected by eating disorders, support is also offered to relatives, as well as knowledge and information to those who encounter patients with eating disorders in their work. You will meet patients both individually and in groups for treatment and assessments.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience within healthcare
• Experience in psychiatric care and treatment
• Experience working with people in crisis, preferably within eating disorder issues
