Your responsibilities

In the role of Hardware Designer, you will become part of a team responsible for requirements specification, development, and verification of hardware products within advanced information systems. You will work closely with suppliers, buyers, and system designers to ensure that the right solutions are developed and function according to the requirements.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Participate in requirements specification, development, and verification of hardware products
• Work with solutions within computer platforms, network equipment, operator stations, monitors, and peripheral equipment
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding technical issues
• Conduct technical evaluations and product verification
• Work with documentation, version control, and technical support material
• Participate in troubleshooting and technical investigations as needed
• Contribute to improvement work and development of working methods within the team
• Participate in development and customer projects together with experienced colleagues

We would like you to have

• At least 1–3 years of experience working with hardware, electronics, computer platforms, network equipment, or related technical areas
• A post-secondary education as a university engineer or equivalent technical background
• A strong interest in computers, hardware, and technical solutions
• Enjoy working both practically and analytically with requirements specification, verification, and troubleshooting
• Good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team
• Accustomed to documenting your work in a structured manner
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience in developing or verifying computers, network equipment, or other technical hardware
• Experience with supplier contacts with a focus on technical issues
• Experience with documentation and version control
• Experience with verification, testing, or quality assurance
