We are looking for a communicative Computational Engineer for our office in Gothenburg!

Your Role

As a Computational Engineer at Etteplan, you will belong to the Engineering Analysis business area, which is the leading provider of technical calculations in the Nordics. Here, you will work closely with our customers and, with your expertise, be a crucial piece in solving their challenges. The work is mostly carried out in our large and pleasant in-house operation and sometimes at our customers' sites. We have a very broad customer base from many different industries, which allows us to offer a highly developmental and stimulating work environment with varied tasks. We regularly collaborate with our colleagues in Solna and Linköping/Norrköping.

Your Profile

To thrive here, it is important that you are passionate about and want to develop further within technical calculations, are driven and curious, and can openly and without pretension share others' knowledge and your own. We are looking for someone who has reached a senior level in their professional role, where you, based on your interest, can take responsibility as a project leader, support our junior colleagues, and have technical responsibility for projects. Since communication with internal and external parties takes place in both Swedish and English, you must have excellent verbal and written skills in both languages.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• A Master of Science degree in (Mechanical Engineering, Technical Physics), Licentiate, or Ph.D., and an interest in product development
• 5+ years of experience in calculations/structural analysis, NVH, or crash simulations
• Experience with CAE tools such as Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nastran, LS-Dyna
• Experience from the energy, defense, or automotive industry is advantageous but not a requirement

This position may require you to undergo a security clearance based on current security protection regulations. For positions requiring security clearance, additional requirements for Swedish citizenship apply.
