Do you want to work in an experienced multidisciplinary team and make a difference for people with psychotic disorders? We are now looking for a nurse for the Psychosis Care Outpatient Clinic, Karlahuset, Örebro.

We are looking for a substitute nurse for our outpatient clinic. Here, you will work together with experienced and dedicated colleagues in a business where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and patient needs are the focus. Job Responsibilities

The tasks within Psychosis Care's outpatient care are varied and based on the patient's needs. You are responsible for standard nursing tasks in psychiatric outpatient care and assess the patient's need for psychiatric care, treatment, and rehabilitation. The work includes nursing and patient care, medication administration, and work at our medication clinic where patients come to receive their medication and injections. You also provide telephone advice to patients and care partners, conduct home visits, and communicate with relatives. An important part of the assignment is collaboration with Örebro Municipality's social psychiatry and LSS activities, as well as close cooperation with Psychosis Care's inpatient ward, which is located in the same building.

As a nurse, you are part of a multidisciplinary team together with doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, care assistants, and social workers. The team works based on the patient's individual needs and the different competencies of the professions, with joint planning regarding care and treatment.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse or Specialist Nurse with a focus on psychiatry.

Experience in psychiatric care is meritorious, but we also welcome you who have a great interest in psychiatric care. You have a good ability to work both independently and in a team, are structured, and express yourself well in speech and writing. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

About the Business

The activities within specialist psychiatry are gathered in Örebro. Here there are activities with directions such as psychosis care, trauma care, dialectical behavior therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, physiotherapy, addiction care, internet treatment, and an eating disorder clinic. We work with treatment both individually and in groups, as well as with both planned and acute visits and telephone advice. Rehabilitation is part of our work as well as mobile interventions and patient and relative education. Together we are around 250 employees who work with common processes and goals.
