Aggerudsskolan is part of the school administration and is located in the southern part of Karlskoga. We have approximately 400 students at the school, and we work collegially to develop teaching in our classrooms and after-school centers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an after-school leader at Aggerudsskolan, you will work to ensure that all students reach as far as possible in their social and knowledge development throughout their entire school day. Here, we work individually tailored and always keep the student in focus.

You will be part of our after-school activity for students aged 6-11, where collaboration, flexibility, and high ambitions are in focus. As an after-school leader, it is important that you are a secure and engaged adult who works with the student's social development, where play, movement, music, and free creation are important components.

You will also collaborate with teachers and special education teachers, where you together create the best possible learning environment for the students throughout the entire school day, and where you work with groups or individuals based on needs (pedagogical, social, and alternative medical).

Your responsibilities include:

  • planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating learning in the after-school center, together in the work team
  • acting as a resource in classes during the students' school day, meaning you are active and help the student(s), targeted to an individual or group based on need.
  • being part of the recess activities
  • being a present recess supervisor
  • collaborating with the student health team and school management
  • parent contact
  • being part of the school's values work and actively working to prevent bullying
  • working and documenting in the existing activity systems
  • contributing to school development

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you are educated as an after-school leader. Meritorious is if you have previously worked with students in after-school activities, have experience with students needing support (social or knowledge-based), and have experience with special education groups. Knowledge in ICT, recess activities, safety work, or sports and health is also meritorious.

To succeed in the role of after-school teacher with us, you need to have a commitment to creating a meaningful after-school activity for the children. You value and contribute to good collaboration through flexibility and an open approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan and organize for the students' stay and well-being in the after-school center and at school.

Great importance is attached to experience and personal suitability.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, Start date: 2026-08-24.

To work in preschool, school, and youth and after-school activities, you must, according to the Register Control Act, submit a certificate of good conduct from the police's criminal record. You must request the certificate yourself from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record" in the form archive from the police's website.

Probationary employment may occur.
