RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will become part of a development team responsible for IT infrastructure automation. The role is central to efficiency and innovation within our IT infrastructure, involving the development of automated solutions that simplify, standardize, and ensure quality in both IT operations and business-related processes.
You will work as a developer in a team responsible for building and maintaining automations, integrations, and Infrastructure as Code solutions, acting as a bridge between different platforms within the IT infrastructure.
We are looking for someone with strong self-drive, engagement, and a desire to make things better. Experience in programming in some form is advantageous, but it is primarily your attitude, your approach, and your burning interest in technology that will determine if this role is right for you!
Do you want to work with the development and automation of IT infrastructure where you will:
- Develop and maintain automated functions using PowerShell and .NET
- Work with Infrastructure as Code in our VCF platform in a data center environment
- Create new and further develop existing scripts that automate repetitive tasks
- Create new and further develop existing web applications
- Create automated flows for the deployment of scripts and applications
- Create automated flows in our self-service portal
- Develop working methods, security policies, and best practices regarding automation work
- Plan future services, improvements, and projects related to automation work

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
- An academic degree with a focus on system development or equivalent education/work experience assessed as equivalent by the employer.
- Experience in development within: PowerShell and .NET
- Experience with CI/CD and pipeline development
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Good understanding of how development supports operations and business processes
- Ability to work in a team and take responsibility for technical solutions from idea to production
- Ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
It is also meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of agile working methods, such as Scrum
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., in a data center environment)
- Knowledge of VCF or similar platform/virtualization solutions
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure or process automation
- Experience with automated account and permission management
- API development and system integration
- Knowledge and experience in:
- JavaScript
- SQL/T-SQL
- Zervicepoint
- Azure DevOps
- Ansible
- VMWare vRealize Automation

EMPLOYMENT TERMS AND LOCATION
Employment Type: Permanent position.
This position is located in the IT/IOS/PL section in Örebro. Based on the operations' conditions, there is an opportunity to work some time from home.
The employment is permanent and usually begins with a six-month probationary period. Start dates will be agreed upon.
This position is security-classified, so we will conduct a security check with register control before making a decision on employment.
