Job Responsibilities

We are seeking temporary staff for Home Care and Elderly Care Facilities in Mörbylånga Municipality. Our workplaces are located in Färjestaden, Algutsrum, Mörbylånga, and Degerhamn. If you take public transport by bus across the Öland Bridge, it is approximately 15 minutes from Kalmar to Färjestaden.

We work with person-centered care and support to give our users a meaningful, secure, and active everyday life.

We help with all daily tasks such as personal hygiene (showering and intimate hygiene), walks, administering medication at the right time, and household chores like cleaning, laundry, and cooking. It is a varied job where you meet different people every day and work in changing environments. Your help will mean a lot to our elderly.

In home care, we use the "Mörbylånga Model," where the work group plans the day and what is best for our elderly themselves. We do not have minute-by-minute control like in many other municipalities. Our model has been appreciated by both our elderly and those working in home care.

Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years old. Previous work experience in the field is desirable but not mandatory. We believe that with the attitude of wanting to do a really good job, you will go far!

You want to take responsibility to make things as good as possible. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

To be considered for employment, you must be able to present an extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register for HVB (Hem för vård eller boende).

Since some home care groups work over a large geographical area, we would prefer that you have a B-driver's license. It is also advantageous if you are accustomed to cycling.

As part of our recruitment process within care services, you may be asked to take a language test to assess your level of Swedish (speaking and writing).
