We offer a developing and interesting job at the Infectious Diseases Clinic. As a nurse at the Infectious Diseases Clinic, you work independently and have a varied job every day. The department operates 24/7, and we strive for good and equal care with high quality, as well as employees with appropriate competence. The tasks may change quickly depending on which patients are being treated at the time. After approximately one year of experience at the Infectious Diseases Clinic, you become double-competent and can handle both infectious disease and ear patients. As a nurse at the Infectious Diseases Clinic, you will work with many different diagnoses, which means you will gain high competence in the field. We play a vital role in the region's preparedness, for example during infectious outbreaks and pandemics. You will work together with a stable and experienced nursing team.

We are a relatively small clinic with close collaboration between professions, and we work closely in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. This creates a dynamic workplace with engaged employees. We are a university healthcare unit that conducts broad and clinic-oriented research that engages all professional categories. We appreciate and encourage individual initiative in research and development, and there are also opportunities for further education as a specialist nurse in infectious medicine. About You

You are a licensed nurse with a few years of experience in the profession, preferably within infectious disease care. The role as a nurse on the combined care ward 39 requires an interest and knowledge of caring for both infectious disease patients and ear patients. As a person, you take initiative and get things done with good results. You see opportunities in change and work well with others, keeping the operations in focus. You are someone who can handle rapid changes, has the ability to make quick prioritizations with good judgment, and make decisions based on the patient's best interest. We place great importance on personal suitability.
