Your future workplace

At Oskarshamn Hospital, an exciting development project is underway where we are creating the future close and secure care. Patient safety is a fundamental premise in everything we do, and we are now looking for a Patient Safety Coordinator who wants to lead this work.

In the role, you work closely with the hospital director, chief physician, another patient safety coordinator (there will be two of you), and the various departments. You will become a central figure in the hospital's quality and patient safety work, driving strategic issues and providing close support to the departments in their daily improvement work.

With us, you will, among other things, drive and develop the hospital's patient safety work, lead risk and incident analyses, coordinate deviation management and quality follow-up. You will also train and support managers and employees in patient safety and participate in regional networks and development projects. Work with continuous improvements based on analyses, statistics, and learning.

Oskarshamn Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County and has over 400 employees. The hospital is a small hospital with fast decision-making processes and close contacts between units.
