Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Care Administration

About the Position

The Care Administration is responsible for care and support in ordinary and special housing, as well as for individuals in need of municipal health and medical care. The goal is for elderly residents to live as active and independent a life as possible. The guiding principle in our work is a health-promoting approach, where we highly value teamwork. The administration employs just over 500 people.

We are now looking for a Rehabilitation Coordinator who wants to drive and develop the Care Administration's work regarding working environment and rehabilitation, with a specific mandate to increase healthy attendance. The position is a one-year project appointment.

Responsibilities

As a Rehabilitation Coordinator, you have a central and driving role in our rehabilitation work. You are organizationally placed within the Care Administration and work consultatively and supportively towards managers. You are the one who drives issues and measures related to sick leave, work-oriented rehabilitation, and workplace adjustments. The work is carried out in close collaboration with managers, employees, HR, and external actors.

• Lead and support managers in rehabilitation processes and workplace adjustments
• Coordinate measures in cases of short- and long-term sick leave
• Collaborate with external actors such as primary care, occupational health services, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
• Ensure that rehabilitation work is conducted in accordance with current legislation
• Contribute to the development of structures and methods within the rehabilitation area

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Competence and experience in working with sick leave, work-oriented rehabilitation, and workplace adjustments
• Relevant education and experience for the position, which could be within HR, labor law, and organization, but also other educations and experience that have led to the right competence, for example within healthcare.
• Good knowledge of current legislation within the rehabilitation and working environment area, such as the Working Environment Act and its accompanying regulations
• Experience of collaboration with various authorities, such as primary care, occupational health services, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Personal Attributes

You are structured and have good communication skills. You thrive in a coordinating role where you take responsibility and drive the work forward.

You are solution-focused and find it easy to collaborate with different actors. Since the role places high demands on collaboration, personal suitability is important, and you must also be able to easily absorb and write texts within the professional area.

Introductory interviews will take place during weeks 32 and 33. The position is a one-year project appointment.
