About the Employer

Forsgläntan Care and Support Residence consists of 8 departments.

The meals and snacks served in the departments are prepared in the kitchen.

Job Responsibilities

Your main tasks include:

• Responsible for the daily operations in the kitchen.
• Daily operational planning; digital ordering may be involved.
• Dishwashing and cleaning.
• Preparation of lunch, dinner, and snacks.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are service-oriented and have a good attitude towards residents, staff, and others within the organization. Experience in kitchen/restaurant/institutional catering is preferred. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative authority for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

Working Hours/Duration

Fixed-term employment, 70 %, from August 2026 to 2027-02-28.
