The majority of the assignment as an SVF Coordinator takes place within the framework of Uppsala Comprehensive Cancer Center, UCCC, where the development of cancer care at Akademiska Sjukhuset is gathered and coordinated. Your Assignment
As an SVF Coordinator, you have an important and developmental assignment where you contribute to strengthening the processes, accessibility, and cohesion of cancer care. You work closely with operations, process leaders, coordinators, cancer coordinators, and support functions.
In the role, you need to be a skilled communicator and relationship builder. You create trust, facilitate dialogue with different professions, and support operations in driving the work forward.
The assignment includes, among other things:
- Coordinating and supporting the development of standardized care pathways at Akademiska Sjukhuset and at the regional level
- Contributing to care pathways that are based on patients' needs, the best available knowledge, and clear working methods
- Contributing a systems perspective in development work by seeing connections between care pathways, operations, working methods, data, and the patient's path through care
- Together with managers, responsible for introduction, training, and networking for SVF coordinators, whose task is to ensure the registration of data related to the different cancer pathways.
- Together with clinical process leaders, contact nurses, and coordinators, analyze SVF data and measures
- Contribute to data being used as a basis for learning, prioritization, and improvement work
- Prepare plans and reports to the Regional Cancer Center and coordinate projects initiated within Region Uppsala regarding standardized care pathways.
- Be part of the operational team linked to Uppsala Cancer Care Centre (UCCC), where the team is responsible for implementing decisions aimed at developing and improving cancer care.
The assignment develops continuously, giving you good opportunities to influence, grow in the role, and contribute to the continued development of cancer care.
Your Qualifications
We are primarily looking for you who are a registered nurse. Other higher education within the healthcare field may be relevant if you have experience and competence assessed as relevant for the assignment.
You have experience working with healthcare processes, development work, or coordination in healthcare. You have good knowledge of change and improvement management and are accustomed to driving work forward together with others. It is an advantage if you have experience of cancer care, standardized care pathways, data analysis and follow-up, education or supervision, as well as coordination of networks and work groups.
To succeed in the role, you need to thrive in a task where collaboration, communication, and development are at the center. You have an easy time building relationships and creating trust, even in complex contexts where professions and support functions need to work towards common goals. As a person, you are methodical, curious, and solution-oriented. You see the big picture, can prioritize, and have the ability to turn analysis and dialogue into concrete improvements. You are stimulated by working together with others and want to contribute to a cancer care that is patient-centered, cohesive, and accessible.
