Trafikverket operates one of the country's most complex and extensive IT operations, responsible for several critical societal IT services. Increased digitalization has opened up endless possibilities but has simultaneously created entirely new risks and threats. As a System Engineer in the Security Platforms unit, you will not only help protect Trafikverket's digital landscape but also contribute to securing the entire Swedish transport system.

The Security Platforms section is responsible for delivering robust IT security products and solutions. We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable System Engineer who wants to contribute to a secure and stable IT environment in Trafikverket's digital landscape.

As a System Engineer here, you will work with the operation, management, and further development of our solutions within Endpoint Protection. You will be part of an engaged team where the focus is on high availability, support, and efficient management of our technical infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ongoing work with the operation, administration, management, and development of our endpoint protection
• Security updates and patch management
• Collaboration with business units, suppliers, and other IT functions
• Life cycle management and action planning
• Participation in projects or assignments
• Support during incidents and alarms

Who are you?

You take responsibility for your tasks. You have genuine technical competence in IT with insight and understanding of components in complex IT infrastructure environments.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education with a focus on data/IT, or other relevant education combined with experience we consider equivalent
• Several years of experience as a System Engineer (or a role considered equivalent) where you have worked with the operation and management of IT systems in a server environment, for example, configuration and life cycle management, or IT systems within cybersecurity
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge within endpoint protection and IT security
• Experience with operation and administration in Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with API integrations and script development
• Experience working in an On-prem IT environment
• Experience working with tools for agile working methods

The position is located in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Örebro, or Borlänge.

In this recruitment, web-based tests are used as part of the selection process. Interviews are planned to be conducted via Skype in week 36.

Travel in the role may occur, and on-call duties may be included. The position is classified with security clearance requirements. Employment requires a passed security check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
