The Business Area for Intensive and Perioperative Care (VO IPV) at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Lund offers surgical care, anesthetic care, postoperative care, and intensive care. Here, patients are cared for before, during, and after their surgery.

At our business area at Sus in Lund, highly specialized anesthetic and surgical care is provided within surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmic surgery, and women's health.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now welcoming two nursing assistants who want to work in an exciting and developing environment with wonderful colleagues.

We are looking for you who are driven by an interest in highly specialized surgeries and teamwork. As an anesthetic nursing assistant on our surgical departments, no day is like the other. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with many different types of surgeries and patient groups. The work offers great variation and always with a strong focus on patient safety. Emergency surgeries, where you will assist, occur during all hours of the day and night.

As a new employee, you will receive an individual introduction plan adapted to your needs and previous experience.

When working on-call hours, we have a favorable quota agreement that benefits your total weekly working time. We use a business-adapted preference schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. If you studied under the previous program structure, we welcome you with a focus on emergency care/healthcare. We require that you have at least one (1) year of experience working in inpatient care. Furthermore, you must have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience working in a surgical department, emergency room, or intensive care unit is considered an advantage for the position.
