Job Responsibilities – Night Receptionist

• Receive guests during check-in and check-out, and handle bookings, payments, and key management during the night shift.
• Be responsible for the reception's on-call phone and act as the first point of contact for guests' needs, questions, or complaints during the night.
• Ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures, and provide information about the hotel's services, opening hours, and local activities.
• Perform administrative tasks such as end-of-day reporting, updating the booking system, and handing over to the day staff.
• Monitor security and order in the facility, conduct rounds of the premises, and contact the responsible person or raise the alarm according to procedures if necessary.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance, operations, and night cleaning to quickly address technical issues, disturbances, or guest requests.
• Perform simple service tasks such as breakfast preparation, restocking consumables, and handling transport or delivery matters arriving at night.
• Follow established procedures for security, working environment, confidentiality, and chemical handling, and document deviations in accordance with Eriksberg's guidelines.

Who fits the role of Night Receptionist?

• You are calm, service-oriented, and confident in your interactions with people, even in stressful or unexpected situations.
• You work independently, take responsibility for the night's operations, and are meticulous in documentation and handovers.
• You have very good communication skills in Swedish; English is an advantage as we have international guests.
• You have good problem-solving skills and can prioritize when multiple tasks arise simultaneously.
• You respect procedures regarding security and confidentiality, and understand the importance of discretion in guest matters.

Desirable Experience and Competencies

• Previous experience from reception, customer service, or night work in the hotel or service industry.
• Knowledge of booking and cash register systems, as well as experience with administrative routines.
• Basic knowledge of security routines, first aid, or CPR is an advantage.
• A valid B-driver's license is required.

Employment Conditions – Night Receptionist

• Salary: According to collective agreement (Visita).
• Employment type: Permanent or fixed-term as agreed.
• Working hours: Night work with varying schedules, including weekends and holidays. Part-time.
• Start date: As agreed.
