Suki Sushi is a restaurant in Karlshamn offering a wide range of sushi, Japanese hot dishes, Vietnamese meals, and other Asian cuisine. We are currently looking for two experienced sushi chefs who want to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in preparing sushi, who can work quickly, meticulously, and independently. You should also have good knowledge of Japanese cooking. Experience in preparing other Asian dishes is a plus.

Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

• Preparing sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and nigiri
• Preparing fish, rice, vegetables, and other ingredients
• Cooking Japanese and other Asian dishes
• Ensuring high food quality and attractive presentation
• Adhering to the restaurant's food hygiene routines
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen and work areas
• Collaborating with other staff members during both calm and busy shifts

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a sushi chef
• Has good knowledge of Japanese cooking
• Has good knowledge of sushi and handling fresh fish
• Understands kitchen hygiene and safe food handling
• Is meticulous, responsible, and stress-resistant
• Can work both independently and as part of a team

Experience in preparing other Asian dishes is a plus.
