RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to create meals that provide both nutrition, joy, and security? We are looking for an engaged Head Chef who wants to lead the kitchen and contribute to our elderly residents at Olsgården Care Facility enjoying delicious and carefully prepared meals every day.

You are an experienced chef with a passion for food featuring high flavors, quality, and development. You want to take greater responsibility and help make a difference in people's daily lives. Does this sound like you? Then you could be our next Head Chef!

Here you will have a key role where you combine cooking that adds value to our guests with clear leadership responsibilities in a business that truly matters.

As Head Chef, you are the hub of the kitchen. You lead and distribute the work, ensure quality, and drive development forward together with your colleagues.

You are responsible for:

  • The daily production runs smoothly and efficiently
  • The food maintains high quality – delicious, nutritious, and adapted to our guests
  • Work methods are continuously developed and improved
  • Guidelines, legal requirements, and goals are followed

At the same time, you are part of the daily work in the kitchen, from cooking and special diets to ordering, self-control, and invoice management. We help each other here, which means you also support where needed.

You also participate in food councils and meetings where you get to influence the dining experience for our elderly.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained chef or have an education that the employer considers equivalent, and who has worked at least five years in the profession.

You need to have solid knowledge of large-scale kitchen production, special diets, adapted food, legislation, self-control, and kitchen economics. Good Swedish skills in speech and writing, as well as computer literacy, are a given in the role.

If you become a candidate for the position, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required.

Experience from the public sector or education in leadership is meritorious.

As a person, you are flexible and have a strong commitment to the meal and to those we cook for. You enjoy meeting our diners, whether it is children who have just started exploring flavors or elderly people who value tradition and security.

You work independently and take responsibility, while also creating good collaboration within the team and spreading joy in work around you. Your sense of service and quality means you always strive to deliver that little extra.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

  • Salary form: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent employment.
  • Duration: Permanent, start date: Recruitment is ongoing.
