Job Responsibilities

In the role of cook, you are responsible for the preparation, cooking, and serving of delicious, safe, and nutritious meals with consideration for the environment. Other important tasks include responsibility for special diets, bread baking, participation in menu and purchasing planning, openness to preparing new dishes, and the daily management of both dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen and dining hall.

Qualifications

• Cook training (large kitchen/restaurant) or experience that the employer values as equivalent.
• Experience in cooking large quantities of food.
• Documented experience.
• Extensive knowledge and passion for cooking, food quality, environmental awareness, and a guest-focused approach.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of allergies and special diets.

About You

We are looking for you who have at least 3 years of documented experience working as a cook within the last 5 years, as well as experience cooking in larger quantities.

We seek someone who independently seeks out new challenges, gets things done, and initiates activities and projects. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment and strives for common goals. It comes naturally to you to compromise and to share information and knowledge.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented. You show genuine interest in customers and their questions and problems.
