JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to help create good dining experiences for our elderly residents? We are now looking for an engaged cook who wants to strengthen the kitchen team at Olsgården Care Residence.

As a cook with us, you work together with your colleagues to plan, prepare, and serve delicious and nutritious meals for our residents.

The meal is an important part of daily life, and you contribute to creating joy in food, security, and a positive dining experience.

You are responsible for maintaining high quality in the kitchen and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with current legislation, food safety routines, and self-control measures.

Together with your colleagues, you develop the operations with a focus on quality, service, and the needs of the residents.

Working Hours

Your latest finish time is 16:30, and you will work one weekend per month according to a rolling 6-week schedule. The working hours provide good opportunities for balance between work and leisure.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

We are looking for you who have at least 3 years of professional experience or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

Professional Knowledge

• Have good knowledge of relevant legislation regarding self-control and food safety.
• Have experience with special diets and large-scale kitchen production.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have good computer skills.

Police Certificate

If you are considered for the position, a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required.

Experience

Experience from the public sector is an advantage.

• Employment Type: Permanent position.
