Hej Främling is a national organization with colleagues spread across the entire country. What do you do in the role of coordinator?
Your daily work involves making connections and building relationships with participants, initiators, and partners to jointly create sports activities that are open and free for everyone. You will work to promote mental health, safety, and community in Östersund and Jämtland/Härjedalen. The work is based on our vision and our methods. In Östersund, Hej Främling also has a meeting place: Café HEJ. As a coordinator in Östersund, you will staff the meeting place and meet our participants during opening hours.
As a coordinator, you work according to the project plan, proactively and with a development-oriented mindset. You will plan events, activities, and meetings. The role also includes administrative tasks such as documentation, project and budget follow-up, marketing, etc. In your role, you are also partially responsible for your region's funding, both short-term and long-term. You build relationships with civil servants, politicians, and the business community in the region. Sharing Hej Främling's values is a requirement. Who are we looking for? You are a social and engaged person who is good at making new contacts. You are a good listener and look forward to being part of the team in Östersund and Jämtland/Härjedalen. You thrive with varied tasks and are a self-starter who dares to take initiative within the project's framework. You always seek opportunities to develop in your professional role as well as to contribute to the organization's development. Additionally, you have experience managing projects and developing operations. You see no obstacles in using digital tools in your daily work.
