Mpya Sci & Tech was created by and for people who love technology and science. We’re not here to do what everyone else is doing. We believe that real talent lies in individuals who dare to keep growing throughout their entire lives. With extensive experience and deep industry knowledge, we’ve built a forward-leaning and cutting-edge company—our way. A result is only as good as the method behind it. As an analytical chemist at Mpya Sci & Tech, you will work closely with both data and decision-making—in assignments where precision and methodological understanding are not a bonus, but the starting point. You will do this with our clients in the pharmaceutical industry, backed by a strong network of consultant colleagues who understand your daily work, where knowledge sharing is a natural part of the job.

We are currently looking for consultants for assignments with clients primarily in Stockholm and Uppsala.

What you will work with

The assignments vary but are usually within R&D or QC, and often involve method development and validation, instrument handling, tech transfer, chromatography (HPLC, UPLC, GC), and mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Regardless of the assignment, the focus is always on precision, quality, problem-solving, and robust analyses.

We are looking for you who have

  • An academic education in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent (MSc or PhD)
  • Several years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry and GMP within the above areas
  • Competence in chromatography, preferably with a focus on mass spectrometry
  • Experience in documenting and reporting according to regulatory requirements
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English

Advantageous

  • Experience in analyzing biological drugs and large molecules (e.g., proteins and peptides)

You thrive at the intersection of analysis, quality, and development – you are precise and structured, but also flexible and solution-oriented when analyses do not behave as expected. You are communicative and build trust through a professional and non-hierarchical approach, while quickly adapting to new contexts.

Why Mpya Sci & Tech?

Many of us come from the industry ourselves and know what is required – and what makes a difference. We are proud of the culture we have built, where knowledge is shared, people grow, and no one is left alone in an assignment. We believe in freedom under responsibility and close leadership, where the right people make the biggest difference when given the right conditions. With us, you become part of a network where experience sharing, collaboration, and development are part of everyday life.

Curious about the next step?

This is a proactive advertisement for upcoming assignments in the autumn. We review applications continuously and are happy to have a dialogue about what you are looking for and how we can match it. Are you curious about the role or the consultant life with us? Send in your application and we will get back to you. Due to summer holidays, the response may take a little extra time.

We look forward to getting to know you! 💜
