Improvement work and operational development are a natural part of the assignment, and you will drive development forward both independently and together with colleagues.
The position is located at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, but the work area covers all six emergency hospitals as well as local care laboratories and sample collection centers within the Region of Stockholm.
We are looking for you who
- Are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks while driving development issues and processes forward.
- Work in a structured manner and plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
- Have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships through an open and non-hierarchical working approach.
- Have specialist knowledge in sample collection and pre-analysis and use your competence to develop the operation and support colleagues.
- Have a holistic view and see how different parts of the operation are connected, enabling you to make well-founded decisions with the operation's best interests in focus.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed biomedical scientist.
- Several years (at least five years) of work experience in sample collection.
- Experience in driving and implementing improvement work.
- Good familiarity with working in various IT systems and the ability to quickly learn new digital tools, such as laboratory information systems.
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Merits:
- Work experience from Clinical Chemistry or other laboratory medical operations.
