Welcome to join us! We are looking for a District Nurse for our home care service, offering you a varied and responsible job in a beautiful archipelago setting.

Gustavsberg Health Centre is one of Sweden's largest health centres. Just 20 minutes by bus from Slussen, you will find independent and varied work in a fantastic archipelago environment.

We provide home care in Gustavsberg, Ingarö, and Värmdö. Our home care team consists of approximately 15 permanent employees who work independently but in close collaboration with each other. Access to a home care physician is available 5 days a week. We work Monday to Friday, with evenings, weekends, and public holidays off.

At Gustavsberg Health Centre, home care is located in the same building as Maternal and Child Health Centre (MVC), Child Health Centre (BVC), Rehabilitation, Primary Mental Health Care, General Practice, Gynaecology, and ENT Clinic. This facilitates cooperation with different professions and specialists. The building also features a storybook-like cafeteria.

Job Responsibilities:

The work involves common tasks for a District Nurse/Nurse within home care.

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for you who are a District Nurse or Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in home care is preferred.
  • Category B driver's license is required.

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for you who have a positive attitude and contribute to our good work climate. You need to be good at collaborating but also able to take personal responsibility. You are service-oriented and can give "the little extra" to the patients you meet. The workload can vary, which places demands on flexibility and a structured approach to work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type:

Permanent position, 100%. Probationary period may apply.

In patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

- Register checks are applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
