In Höör Municipality, child and student health services are organized centrally and include school nurses, school counselors, school psychologists, school doctors, special educators, and our school social team. The central child and student health service has the task of assisting the municipality's primary schools with medical, psychological, psychosocial, and special pedagogical competence in the comprehensive student health work. Each school has a student health team that includes the school nurse, and this position is primarily based at Ringsjöskolan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of school nurse, you are part of the medical component of the student health service. The assignment involves working preventively and health-promoting to contribute to the health and development of all students. In your role as a school nurse, you bring medical competence to the pedagogical work, and together with other professions in the operation, you create the best conditions for each student to achieve the goals of education.

The role of school nurse includes independently planning and structuring work to offer and conduct health visits, vision and hearing checks, and vaccinations for the students at the school. The work requires that you have good knowledge of record-keeping. You are expected to document your work in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act and the Patient Data Act in our operational system, Prorenata Journal.

Together with other school nurses in the central child and student health service, you contribute to developing the medical component of student health for increased quality and patient safety. The school nurses have close cooperation and meet regularly to develop the work. To create the best conditions for new hires, mentorship is applied within the school nurse group.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialized training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or with further education as a school nurse. You have very good computer skills and experience with web-based journal systems. Experience with Prorenata Journal as a record-keeping system is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have previous experience in interdisciplinary student health work in primary schools.

As a school nurse, you are sensitive, empathetic, and confident in your professional role. You are solution-focused, non-hierarchical, and flexible, and you meet each student with commitment, curiosity, respect, and warmth. Your approach also creates sustainable relationships with guardians and colleagues in the operation. The role requires that you have the ability to work independently.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start: Occurs at the beginning of the autumn term 2026 according to agreement.
Working hours: Daytime.

The position is a full-time substitute position for one year, with the possibility of extension. Start occurs at the beginning of the autumn term 2026, according to agreement.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and that it does not need to be taken for internal use.
