Consultant in Medical Content, Copywriting & GEO for our client

Do you have experience in medical communication and the ability to translate complex medical information into engaging, accessible content? We are now looking for a consultant in Medical Content, Copywriting, and GEO for a project with a digital health actor – where you produce and quality-assure patient-centric content optimized for both traditional and AI-driven search.

If you combine medical understanding with strong writing skills and an eye for digital visibility – this could be the role for you.

About the assignment

Our client is an established player in health and medicine, focusing on patient-centric digital solutions. You will support the development of content within a specific therapeutic area – the content must be medically accurate, tailored to target groups, and optimized for digital visibility including GEO and SEO.

Responsibilities:

Medical Communication

Interpret scientific publications, treatment guidelines, and medical data. Produce and quality-assure content that meets regulatory requirements and maintains high medical accuracy.

Content & Copywriting

Write engaging and educational texts for patients and the general public. Adapt messages to different target groups and digital channels. Develop articles, patient guides, FAQs, web copy, and campaign materials.

GEO & Digital Visibility

Structure content for high visibility in both traditional search engines and AI-driven search experiences. Work actively with GEO to ensure that content is retrieved and prioritized by generative AI search engines and language models.

We are looking for someone who

Is independent, proactive, and accustomed to driving projects from strategy to concrete content. You have high quality in both medical review and language, strategic understanding of how content contributes to patient education and digital visibility, and good collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Requirements and qualifications

• Documented experience in medical writing or medical communication
• Good understanding of one or more therapeutic areas within medicine and metabolic health
• Ability to interpret scientific publications, treatment guidelines, and medical data
• Very good ability to write engaging and educational texts for patients and the general public
• Experience adapting messages to different target groups and digital channels
• Understanding of GEO and how generative AI search engines retrieve and prioritize content
• Experience structuring content for visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search environments

Desirable experience

• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry, medical technology, healthcare providers, or medical communication agencies
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and balanced medical communication (LER)
• IMA certification
• Experience with patient-educational content
• Experience from Nordic healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry

Location and scope

100% scope, location by agreement. Travel as part of the job is included.
