We are now looking for a driven Sales Manager for our store Stora Coop Trelleborg!
As a Sales Manager, you have responsibility for sales, operations, and results for your department in the store. You collaborate closely with the Store Manager, Sales Manager, and employees to optimize and contribute to the store's development and success, both in the short and long term.
In your customer-oriented leadership, you drive your department commercially, based on set goals, combined with professional leadership and customer service.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead the sales work within your area of responsibility to achieve increased sales, results, and customer satisfaction
- Create a selling and inspiring environment in your department
- Work with Coop's common culture and value base
- Ensure daily operations – staffing, supply of goods, price maintenance, etc.
- Initiate, lead, and drive various initiatives to improve profitability and results
- Coach and plan for employees within your area of responsibility, such as work distribution, competence development, introduction of new employees, follow-up of routines and regulations, etc.
- Monitor the development of sales, budget, and margins and work actively to reduce waste and write-offs
- Ensure that Coop's sustainability policy is followed
- Participate in daily operations – cash register work, picking goods, etc.
The position is a permanent employment of 35 hours/week. Probation period may apply. Your working hours may vary as we are open when our customers want to shop, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday.
Your qualifications:
- Experience and competence in grocery and/or retail sales or other similar service profession
- Experience in leading personnel
- Documented good sales results in retail is an advantage
- Good computer skills are required. Previous experience from SAP, HR+, and SoftOne is an advantage
Education
- Upper secondary education is a requirement
- Post-secondary education or university degree is an advantage
We are looking for you who have a strong focus on sales and a strong drive to create profitability. You are creative and not afraid to test new paths in your work. Furthermore, you like to work in constant development, see and act from the perspective of the entire store. Since you lead others, it is important to us that you are social, sensitive, empathetic, persistent, have good communication skills, and the ability to make decisions.
