We are now looking for a teaching assistant for Östra Ringskolan, Satellite.

The position is located at Satellite, a special teaching group situated just outside the main building of Östra Ringskolan. Satellite serves students who need a smaller environment and may require extra support in one or more subjects at a location separate from the main school. The students' individual needs dictate their school day.

As a teaching assistant, you support the teacher in the instruction. You provide support to individual students and smaller groups in their daily school work based on their specific needs. The role also involves close contact with students and guardians.

This is a temporary position.

We are looking for you who are trained as a teaching assistant or have other relevant post-secondary education, for example in pedagogy or behavioral science.

Previous work experience with students in need of special support, preferably from the lower secondary school level, is considered an advantage.

You have good interpersonal skills; you listen, show empathy, and respect. You are flexible and find solutions for situations that may arise during the school day.

Since you will work closely with the teacher at Satellite, it is important that you are a team player who enjoys helping out and stepping up for the benefit of the students and the operations, to solve tasks together.

We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide a certificate of good conduct from the police before employment begins.

A probationary period may be applicable for the position.
