We do not believe that our success lies in the steel or the pipe. It lies in the human being – the one who turns a problem inside out, who listens and understands, who is pleasant to meet and easy to like. At Heléns, we build strong teams and a positive corporate culture, where our employees are given room to shape their own careers. As Scandinavia's leading supplier of industrial steel pipe solutions, we can offer varied tasks, a great deal of personal responsibility, and international career opportunities, which create the conditions for development and success – for both you and Heléns.

Do you want to use your experience from production to create smarter ways of working, better flows, and an easier daily life for your colleagues? Take the next step and develop the production of the future together with us.

We are now looking for a driven and curious Flow Technician who wants to take the next step in their development. This is a role for you who thrives in production, sees opportunities for improvement, and wants to influence how we work – not by being a manager, but through knowledge, engagement, and collaboration.

About the role

As a Flow Technician, you work closely with our operators, Team Leaders, Quality Technicians, and Production Technicians. You combine your practical experience with a development focus where you help us create safer, more efficient, and more stable ways of working.

Your main tasks include:

  • Identifying improvement opportunities in production and driving activities together with the team
  • Developing ways of working within safety, quality, efficiency, and working environment
  • Conducting problem-solving and root cause analysis when we encounter challenges
  • Monitoring results and contributing to making improvements a natural part of everyday life
  • Supporting and coaching colleagues in new ways of working and standards
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and development within production
  • Working operationally in production when the business needs it

At Heléns, you will have an important role in developing our production flows together with colleagues in the business. You will become a link between operators, production, and support functions, and have the opportunity to drive improvements that make a real difference in everyday life.

We are looking for you who

We believe that you currently work in a production environment and feel that you want to develop further. You might be an operator, technician, or team leader, or have other practical experience where you have started to become more interested in how we can work smartly and efficiently.

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

  • Have experience from manufacturing industry and understand the daily life of production
  • Are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy finding causes behind problems
  • Have a natural drive to improve and develop
  • Are good at collaborating and getting others on board
  • Have good communication skills and can explain and teach in a pedagogical way
  • See the big picture and easily understand connections

It is highly meritorious if you have previously driven improvement work – however, the most important thing for us is your willingness to develop, your engagement, and your ability to get things done.

Experience with LEAN, 5S, Kaizen, or similar improvement work is meritorious.

We would like you to have a technical high school education or equivalent experience. You master Swedish and English in speech and writing.

We offer you

At Heléns, you become part of a wonderful team where the customer is always at the center. We work closely together and help each other to achieve results, energy, and job satisfaction. With us, you get to work in a professional workplace in an exciting and modern environment, with good benefits and collective agreements. We have an engaging culture where your knowledge and curiosity are put to use every day. Our pleasant and ambitious employees show care, are engaged, and inclusive. We look forward to welcoming you.

Application

Does this sound like the right challenge for you? Please submit your application by August 4th.

After the application period ends, we will begin the selection process. If you have questions about the role, you are welcome to contact the recruiting manager Anders Hultberg via email: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])

Heléns stocks, processes, and delivers Scandinavia's widest range of steel pipes, bars, and profiles to the industry.
