We are looking for a confident, technically skilled, and structured leader with the ability to create engagement, order, and good conditions for production, maintenance, and employees to achieve their goals.

As the Mechanical and Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the daily coordination of maintenance and related production efforts. The role works closely with the production team to ensure operational reliability, quality, delivery precision, and efficient resource utilization. The position reports to the CEO and is an operational function focused on maintenance, planning, follow-up, and personnel management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily maintenance work and related production efforts.
• Staffing planning, resource allocation, and daily leadership of assigned personnel.
• Ensure that production and maintenance plans are followed.
• Monitor operations, downtime, deliveries, quality, and productivity.
• Coordinate work between production, maintenance, warehouse, planning, purchasing, and administration.
• Identify and drive improvement opportunities in machinery, production flows, and work processes.
• Participate in production and improvement meetings and report status, deviations, and improvement needs to the CEO.
• Provide operational support to employees in daily operations and ensure compliance with routines, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to capacity planning, inventory, spare parts issues, and contact with suppliers or service partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience from manufacturing industry, production, or maintenance environments.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience in leading and coordinating employees in a production or maintenance environment.
• Good ability to plan staffing, distribute tasks, and create engagement and structure within the work group.
• Good technical understanding of machines, production equipment, and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to create structure, prioritize, and follow up on key figures, downtime, quality, and productivity.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits

• Experience with maintenance systems, downtime monitoring, or production systems.
• Experience with forklift driving and forklift license.

Responsibilities and Authority

The Mechanical and Maintenance Manager is responsible for the operational coordination of maintenance, operations, and assigned personnel, reporting to the CEO. The role has the authority to prioritize and distribute daily tasks, reprioritize during operational disruptions, initiate necessary maintenance measures, and stop work or machinery in case of risk of personal injury, machine damage, or serious quality defects. The role has operational personnel responsibility for assigned staff, which includes daily leadership, staffing planning, task distribution, induction, follow-up, order, safety, and compliance with routines. Formal decisions regarding employment, salary, dismissal, warnings, or other labor law measures are made by the CEO or another responsible manager appointed by the company, unless otherwise delegated in writing.
