Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Designer at Head Energy, you are part of driving the development of future energy and industrial solutions. Together, we contribute to a more sustainable society and the industry's green transition.
You will have the opportunity to work in high-tech development projects. The projects are located in our business areas Energy, Industry/Product Development, and Process. This means that as a designer, you will have the opportunity to work with product and machine design with a focus on technically efficient solutions. The work takes place either with and for our customers or in our in-house projects, which creates great opportunities for personal experience development. Depending on your background, you will be able to work with leading product development companies and/or machinery and automation-related companies.

The projects may involve new development or product and machine updates. In many cases, you will also have the opportunity to be involved from start to finish and see the products/systems commissioned and put into production.
As a Mechanical Designer, you will, among other things, work with:
- Mechanical design of products, machines, and systems in the form of 3D-CAD and drawing creation (2D and 3D)
- Design in close collaboration with calculation, electrical/electronics, and software
- Being involved in material selection and production methods
- Being involved in testing
- Being involved in supplier selection
- Being the technical support for aftermarket and production
- Technical support for customers
- Ensuring that development work is carried out according to customer procedures and follows current norms and standards
- Quality assurance and technical review of development work against the original order
- Participate in testing and commissioning
- Perform risk and safety assessments/analyses
Education and Experience
- University education in mechanical engineering/mechanics
- At least 3 years of work experience as a designer
- Experience with CAD systems such as Creo, SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor, NX
- You may have experience in designing products for personal and consumer use, as well as designing products for production and system solutions.
- Experience with commissioning and close collaboration with, or work with, electrical design is meritorious.
