We are looking for a Construction Manager for Earthworks and Structures for a consultancy assignment with Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration) in Luleå.

This is a full-time position involving close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

You will work within Trafikverket's project organization as a support to the project manager for the Luleå C project within the Norrbotniabanan (Bothnia Line) expansion. The project involves the reconstruction and modernization of Luleå Central Station, where the existing signal control system will be replaced and the rail yard will undergo extensive new and renewal investments. The new signal control system is planned to be commissioned in 2028, while improving the station's accessibility. Design documentation is ongoing, and the execution contract for Earthworks/Structures is planned to start in autumn 2026.

Your role is to lead and coordinate construction management and ensure that the contract is executed according to contract terms, schedule, quality, work environment, and other requirements. If necessary, the assignment may also include work in other parts of the Norrbotniabanan project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction management for Earthworks and Structures.
• Report to the project manager and participate in production-technical solutions.
• Be responsible for daily contact with the contractor and monitor the progress of the contract.
• Check the contractor's work, self-inspections, work preparations, inspections, as well as final and relational documentation.
• Identify risks and provide basis for decisions on measures.
• Coordinate with adjacent contracts, Trafikverket projects, and external parties.
• Ensure that authority requirements, permits, and work environment requirements are met.
• Represent Trafikverket at meetings and consultations and contribute to good relationships with stakeholders and the public.

High physical presence at the construction site office and Trafikverket's project office is expected. Remote work may occur after agreement with the client.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• At least 7 years of experience as a Construction Manager for Earthworks and Structures. The experience must have been acquired within the last 15 years, with an average employment rate of at least 50% per year of experience claimed.
• Experience from at least 3 different projects where you have been responsible as Construction Manager for new construction of railway bridges or road bridges under or over railways. The resource must have worked in the role for a continuous period of at least 3 months in each of the three projects. Verified via at least three (3) approved reference assignments.
• Completed and approved training in Concrete Class 1. Verified via certificate.
• Experience with ABK09 and AB04. Checked during potential interview.
• Category B driver's license. Verified during potential interview.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish, both written and spoken. Verified during potential interview.

Merits
