We are now looking for an experienced Construction Manager for Road Markings for a consultancy assignment with the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) in Region West, Fyrbodal area.

This is a consultancy assignment. Place of work: Västra Götaland County (O), area Fyrbodal.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close cooperation with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

Do you want to contribute to a safe and well-functioning road infrastructure? We are now looking for an experienced Construction Manager for Road Markings for a long-term consultancy assignment with the Swedish Transport Administration in Region West, Fyrbodal area.

In this role, you will be part of the Swedish Transport Administration's client organization and be responsible for construction management, follow-up, and quality control of road marking contracts on the state road network. The assignment involves close cooperation with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that contracts are carried out according to current requirements regarding quality, time, economy, environment, and working environment.

The work consists of both field and office work and includes, among other things, planning, inventory of road markings, preparation of procurement documents, quality and functional controls, as well as follow-up of contracts throughout the implementation.

Responsibilities

As a construction manager, you will among other things:

• Plan, lead, and follow up on road marking contracts.
• Inventory road markings and document action needs.
• Perform quality, delivery, and functional controls.
• Ensure that contracts are carried out according to contract, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Participate in construction meetings, reviews, and inspections.
• Prepare technical documentation and digital documentation.
• Follow up on technology, economy, quality, environment, working environment, and safety.
• Collaborate with contractors and the Swedish Transport Administration's project organization.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

• Relevant education or at least five (5) years of work experience in construction management/work leadership.
• Competence as specified in TDOK 2018:0371 "APV Roles and competence in procured business Contracting and Design Services".
• Experience and routine of having performed computer work more or less every day or every week during the last five years, and thus have experience working in Microsoft Office with the programs Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Hold a valid Category B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of AMA (Swedish construction standards).
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Worked continuously in the field of road markings during the last five (5) years.
• Knowledge of road marking materials, including certified road marking materials.
• Knowledge of the regulations VGU – Design of Roads and Streets, latest version, regarding road markings.
• Knowledge of controlled inspection of road markings according to TDOK 2013:0462.

Assistant Construction Manager (NOTE, mandatory)

• Hold a valid Category B driver's license.
• Technical degree within road and construction operations or equivalent work experience within road and construction operations for at least 1 year.
• Competence as specified in TDOK 2018:0371 "APV Roles and competence in procured business Contracting and Design Services".
