NTI Gymnasiet has schools throughout Sweden, focusing on technology, science, and innovation. The digitalization of society creates both new opportunities and challenges across all industries. Our mission is to provide our students, regardless of their program, with cutting-edge digital skills and knowledge of new technologies already during upper secondary school. We create environments, methods, forums, and collaborations that develop an understanding of the changing world we live in. Read more about our schools at www.ntigymnasiet.se.
Gymnasieskolan AB is now looking for a School Nurse!
Gymnasieskolan AB is part of AcadeMedia, one of the largest private education providers in the Nordic region. We operate throughout the entire education chain, from preschool to adult education. Our employees have different roles and competencies, but share a strong common focus on quality and development. We help our children, students, and participants develop and reach their goals, and we are therefore looking for you who want to help make Sweden a little better.
Your Role
The mission of the school health service is to support students' development towards educational goals, primarily through health promotion and preventive work.
As a school nurse, you bring nursing competence and medical expertise as support in the work with students' learning. You follow AcadeMedia's guidelines for the school health service's medical interventions and participate in the school's student health work by:
- identifying symptoms in students during health conversations early on, which may indicate a need for extra adjustments or other interventions
- investigating and assessing the physical and mental health of individual students, sometimes as a basis for the school's investigation work and when establishing action plans
- in collaboration with others, contributing to increasing knowledge about a healthy lifestyle among students and being a support in related teaching
- contributing knowledge about risk and protective factors for students' health, social situation, and learning
- offering time for spontaneous visits where basic healthcare interventions are provided
- offering vaccinations according to the general vaccination program for children
As a school nurse, you are part of the school's student health team and collaborate closely with school management, the Student Health Team (SHT), mentors, educators, guardians, and authorities outside the school. The role also includes participating in the school's development work and in the joint development and quality assurance work within the medical school health service.
The work requires that you are confident in your professional role, can work independently, are proactive, and have a good ability to see opportunities in different situations. As support in your work, you are part of AcadeMedia's network for school nurses, led by a medical operations manager.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse. You are interested in working with preventive health work and developing a modern school nurse role. You have good interpersonal skills, can build trust with young people, have good planning and prioritization skills, and are flexible in situations that require it. If you have previously worked as a school nurse or have experience in health promotion work with children and young people, we view this very positively. Experience with the digital medical record system PMO is an advantage. Personal suitability is given great weight.
Our Offer to You
We offer all our employees continuous competence development through AcadeMedia Academy, as well as internal and external professional development. Here, you will of course receive collective agreement benefits and insurance, as well as a generous wellness allowance, pension counseling, staff discounts, and the opportunity for favorable purchases through net and gross salary exchange.
The position is a part-time employment with a total scope of 40%.
A probation period of 6 months applies. Start date is by agreement.
Application and Contact
Please apply as soon as possible via our recruitment system, as selection and interviews are conducted continuously, but no later than 2026-06-19. The position may be filled before the application deadline.
For questions regarding the position, please contact Acting Principal Ingrid Eriksson at [email protected]
