How do you ensure a large organization has the right competence - today and tomorrow? As Head of Department at Trafikverksskolan, you build relationships, capture the needs of both the Swedish Transport Administration and the industry, and drive the development of future learning. Here you lead both people and change in a business where collaboration, pedagogy, and customer focus are at the center.

Trafikverksskolan develops education and learning that provide the right competence for the future. We are in constant development, moving from traditional educational solutions to varied learning with the customer in focus and a pedagogical approach. As Head of Department, you are a key person in this development.

The role is characterized by many contact surfaces. By building relationships and networks, you capture the business's needs and translate them into education and working methods that strengthen the competence supply for the Swedish Transport Administration and the industry.

You are responsible for, among other things:

• leading and developing a department with approximately 12 employees
• being responsible for operations, budget, personnel, and delivery
• developing varied learning and working methods based on the needs of the business and the industry
• building long-term relationships with customers and other parts of the Swedish Transport Administration
• driving cross-functional development and being part of Trafikverksskolan's management group

The department's employees are primarily located in Ängelholm, but also in other locations, which means that travel is part of the role.

We are looking for you who

• have a relevant university degree, or alternatively other education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent
• have at least three years of current experience in a managerial role with personnel and operational responsibility in a large and complex organization
• have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• have a driver's license for a passenger car

It is meritorious if you

• have experience in leading projects
• have experience in pedagogical work or the development of adult education
• have experience in change management
• have good knowledge of the Swedish Transport Administration's operations and preferably competence in traffic control, driver testing, or safety and preparedness

We plan to conduct interviews via Skype on August 17–18 and a second interview on-site in Ängelholm on August 20–21.
