Description

Yrkesgymnasiet Ale is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher in Construction and Civil Engineering, specializing in Ground and Civil Engineering. You who have at least five years of work experience from the ground and civil engineering sector are also welcome to apply. Here, students learn a trade from the ground up on real job sites with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the future civil engineering industry. More than half of the students' education takes place on a job site, giving them a solid foundation and an advantage in the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their supervisors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified teacher in Construction and Civil Engineering or alternatively have at least five years of experience from the ground and civil engineering sector and a strong drive to teach and supervise students.
• Are an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge-builder between school, students, and the business community.
• Have a B driver's license and preferably access to your own car.
• Have the ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or alternatively substantial experience within Ground and Civil Engineering and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of civil engineers. Teacher certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
