Is it possible to work with payroll administration at MAX's office?

Yes, it is – and it’s actually really fun.

Most people enjoy receiving their salary in their account every month. Now, the payroll team at MAX Burgers in Luleå is looking for a junior colleague who wants to support our thousands of employees. Become part of a team with high professionalism and lots of warmth!

Your role

As a junior payroll administrator, you are an important part of the team and support the daily work within the payroll area. You will not work independently through the entire payroll process from start to finish, but you will have the opportunity to learn step by step and develop together with experienced colleagues.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• 1st line support – answering questions from managers and employees via our case management system and by email
• Issuing certificates (e.g., employer certificates and employment certificates)
• Reporting to authorities
• Supporting senior colleagues in payroll work
• Participating in and supporting the team throughout the entire payroll process in systems such as Quinix and Visma+

As a payroll administrator here, you are part of a team consisting of Payroll Administrators, Payroll Specialists, System Administrators, Product Owners, Team Leaders, and the Payroll Manager. You will become part of an engaged payroll team where we work closely together and help each other to meet our deadlines.

We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career and wants to develop within payroll, HR, or administration.

Perhaps you have:

• An education in payroll, HR, economics, or administration
• Or some work experience in one of these areas

The most important thing for us is your attitude.

As a person, you are positive and curious, and see yourself as a team player who enjoys collaborating. You thrive in contact with people and value accuracy, structure, and service.

You feel comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Norwegian, Danish, or Polish is an advantage, as we have colleagues in several countries.

We offer you a fixed-term contract (approx. 12 months) with the possibility of extension, with a start date to be agreed upon. This is a full-time position based in Luleå.
