The current position is located at Pålstorpsskolan, Höganäs Municipality's resource school.

Pålstorpsskolan receives students who are in need of special support. We target students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD), primarily autism.

We believe that all students want to succeed if they can. Our task is to ensure they do. We work to ensure that students are involved, have influence, and experience safety and a conducive learning environment.

At our school, students encounter a school environment that is neutral and free from distracting sensory stimuli. We develop relationships, both with students and guardians, based on trust and respect. We are close to our students throughout the entire school day.

Through structured development work, in close collaboration with the school's student health team, we make learning even clearer and more accessible for the students.

The single most important success factor for students' development is the teacher. Therefore, we work in a two-teacher system to further strengthen the students' learning. Each class consists of approximately 7 students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be primarily responsible for teaching Swedish to middle school students, which involves planning, implementation, assessment, and grading.

Based on our two-teacher system, part of the role will also involve being the "second teacher" during lessons in other subjects.

Together with a colleague, you will serve as a mentor for some of the school's students. This role includes close collaboration with guardians and the school's student health team.

The role also includes supporting students in social interaction, which may involve playing games, joining excursions, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated and licensed as a Swedish teacher up to grade 9. If you also have a license for more subjects, it is a merit.

You obviously think like we do: that relationships are A and O to create the best conditions for learning.

Since our target group is students with NDD, experience in this area is also important.
