At the Swedish Medical Products Agency (Läkemedelsverket), we make a difference together. In life and for life. We work for the health of humans and animals, for a better Sweden today and in the future.
If you have experience working with crime prevention, welfare crime, or supervision of e-commerce, this could be the job for you.
Our Operations
The Unit for Cosmetics, Medicinal Products and Narcotics is part of the Supervision business area and consists of three groups: cosmetics, illegal medicines, and narcotics.
To the group working with supervision of illegal medicines, we are now looking for a driven and analytical supervisory investigator who wants to contribute to stopping the illegal sale of medicines.
Your Responsibilities
You will work with supervision of the illegal sale of medicines, with a particular focus on trade via the internet and social media. You will independently drive your own investigations and be responsible for the entire process, which involves collecting, analyzing, and evaluating information from various sources. The work also includes making legal assessments and preparing decisions.
You will collaborate with other authorities in Sweden and internationally, answer questions from the public and businesses, and contribute to the agency's external communication, for example through media contacts and lectures.
The external environment, and thus supervision in this area, is in constant change. A key part of the work is continuous environmental scanning and developing supervision, with a special focus on e-commerce.
Your Background
We are looking for you with a university degree, preferably with a natural science orientation or another academic education deemed suitable for the position.
You have experience in qualified investigative work with a focus on control or supervision.
Experience working with issues related to welfare crime or crime prevention is meritorious. Experience with supervision of digital platforms as well as knowledge of regulations regarding e-commerce and social media is also meritorious.
We would like you to have experience analyzing large and complex amounts of information and being able to make well-founded and independent assessments based on this.
You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English.
Your Personal Qualities
As we continuously develop our supervision, the role requires both strong personal drive and a good ability to collaborate, build relationships, and develop working methods/business operations.
You are analytical and have good problem-solving skills. You are structured and solution-oriented, as well as confident in making your own assessments.
A key part of the work involves designing and communicating information, so we look for you to have good communication skills, where you can respectfully and clearly discuss and address others' questions and requests in both speech and writing.
We place great importance on personal qualities.
