We are now offering the opportunity to teach Spanish at Tollarps School in combination with Fjälkinge School.
At the lower secondary level of Tollarps School, we are looking for you who want to become part of a team that works to strengthen the team, where our core values relationships, engagement, and shared vision are guiding principles in our approach towards students, each other, and everyone we meet. If you want to develop and contribute with curiosity, innovative thinking, and professionalism, you are welcome to apply to us at Tollarps School!
Fjälkinge School is a K-9 school in the countryside just outside Kristianstad, where Joy, Learning, Engagement, Security, and Responsibility are our key words. We work closely together in a warm and supportive collegium where ideas are welcomed and where every employee gets the opportunity to contribute with their competence and personality. Here we dare to think new, value strong relationships, and work with a clear focus: that both students and staff should feel pride when they walk through the doors every day.
The younger students mainly come from the nearby villages, while the lower secondary level attracts young people from large parts of the municipality – and even from neighboring municipalities – thanks to our popular football academy.
Your role with us
You will teach students in grades 6-9 in the subject of Spanish with 60% at Tollarps School and the remaining 40% at Fjälkinge School. As a teacher with us, you stimulate students to learning and train them to be responsible individuals. With engagement and enthusiasm, you create a secure learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom.
The teaching is designed based on the goals of the curriculum, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching to the level of all students, with a focus on the student's best interest.
Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you keep up to date with events in the outside world and young people's daily lives. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. You systematically reflect on the practical work and together with colleagues drive development work in the team and at the school. You also have a joint responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development.
If you are new as a teacher, you are supported by a mentor for the best guidance in the work, and you who are an unqualified teacher can conduct teaching but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grading lies with a certified teacher.
Who are we looking for?
We are primarily looking for you with a teaching license with the qualification to conduct teaching in grades 6-9 in the subject of Spanish. We would like you to have experience in conducting teaching, preferably within primary school, and have worked with children/young people aged 9-15.
