We are now looking for two Team Leaders to join our growing team in Åkersberga. This role is perfect for you who want to combine customer-facing work with leadership and coordination, and who wish to take a clear step forward in responsibility within home care services.
Employment Terms and Conditions
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday and every third weekend (including public holidays)
- Shift Times: 07:00–15:30
- Employment Type: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period
- Start Date: According to agreement
- Workplace: You will be based at our office in Åkersberga and work within Österåker Municipality.
Responsibilities – What Will You Do?
As a Team Leader with us, you have a combined role involving nursing care, leadership, and administrative tasks:
- Leadership & Daily Support – be a present and reassuring contact for employees and support them in their daily work
- Practical Care Work – work directly with clients and serve as a role model in attitude, quality, and professionalism
- Planning & Start-ups – participate in the initiation of new services and ensure that clients' needs are met securely
- Documentation & Administration – handle ongoing documentation and simpler follow-ups in close collaboration with the unit manager
- Quality & Work Environment – contribute to structure, routines, and a good work climate
- Team Culture & Cohesion – create trust, collaboration, and joy in work within the team
- Emergency Alarms – quickly respond to urgent needs from clients who have triggered alarms. We work on behalf of Österåker Municipality and are responsible for both standard home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00-22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.
Who Are You?
We are looking for you who are engaged and want to take a leading role within home care services:
- Nursing Education (REQUIRED) – you have education and preferably a protected professional title, as well as experience from home care
- Care and Nursing Experience – you have worked closely with clients in their daily lives
- Natural Leader – you have experience coordinating, supporting, or leading others in daily life
- Good Swedish in speech and writing – you can communicate clearly and document professionally
- Category B Driver's License (REQUIRED) – you are a confident and experienced driver
- Responsible, unpretentious, and solution-oriented – you take initiative, keep your cool in stressful situations, and collaborate well with others
- Digital Proficiency – you work comfortably in digital systems and documentation
