Our operations are growing! Are you a licensed physician and want to work at a well-functioning and pleasant unit where we aim to improve and develop care for children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disabilities? BUP Stockholm Section of Neuropsychiatry is now seeking a licensed physician. The work takes place during daytime hours.
BUP Stockholm Section of Neuropsychiatry consists of BUP En väg in, as well as seven neuropsychiatric clinics so far: Nordost (Mörby), Nordväst (Solna), Sydost (Sickla), Sydväst 1 and 2 (Älvsjö and Solberga), and Väst 1 and 2 (Brommaplan). The work environment at BUP Neuropsychiatry is characterized by development, high competence, and quality. Here, doctors, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries collaborate to provide our patients with accessible, efficient, and patient-centered care. The units work with medical treatment, assessments, and investigations where the issue is neuropsychiatric difficulties.
Job Description
As a physician, your main tasks are to initiate medical treatment upon completion of an investigation, according to national guidelines and BUP process maps, and to follow up on effects in a team with a nurse. You serve as a support for colleagues during treatment conferences and case assessments based on your professional role as a doctor. This includes prescribing medication and annual check-ups.
You, like all employees, are an important part of the team and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous development by participating in the unit's ongoing development work.
Qualifications
You must be a licensed physician. Experience working with children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric issues is advantageous, as is familiarity with modern, evidence-based methods. Experience from child psychiatric outpatient care or pediatric clinics is also considered an advantage.

Employment Type
6-month fixed-term contract. Start date: ASAP or as agreed.

BUP Neuropsychiatry is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 in Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. In patient-facing roles within Stockholm County Healthcare Services:
- A background check is conducted before the employment decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
