This is your chance! Are you the one we are looking for? We are currently seeking a Primary School Teacher for After-School Centre (Fritidshem) at Apelgårdsskolan. You will join our after-school team and become part of a wonderful group consisting of several Primary School Teachers for After-School Centre and other staff members, all striving for the best possible school experience for every student. At Apelgårdsskolan, you are offered opportunities for professional development, collaboration with colleagues and school leadership, and exciting assignments. During this academic year, the school focuses on reading, while the after-school centre is engaged in development work based on scientific methods and proven experience. You will be supervised by a manager who is attentive, clear, and practices trust-based leadership.

As a Primary School Teacher for After-School Centre, you will plan and conduct teaching activities and assess students' development. Based on the curriculum and governing documents, we create a safe environment together that aims to strengthen our students' knowledge development as well as their personal growth, while providing them with a meaningful leisure time. We also strive to promote diverse interactions, social cohesion, and strong group relationships. During school hours, you collaborate with school staff to create an activity that meets the needs of our students and guardians in the best possible way based on their individual needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified Primary School Teacher for After-School Centre. It is meritorious if you have the qualification to teach music, previous experience from the profession, and experience working with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPD).

You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day. Your teaching is modern and evidence-based, and you work effectively with relevant digital tools. To fit as a Primary School Teacher for After-School Centre with us, it is important that you find it easy to collaborate with various professional competencies, are attentive, unpretentious, structured, and communicative. We see that you are clear in your leadership and confident in your role. That you are passionate about working in an after-school centre is seen as a given!
